Linden - Joseph E. Molnar, 59 of Linden was dead on arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette at 5:47 p.m. Saturday (27 Oct 1979). Mr. Molnar had moved to Linden from Syracuse, NY in April. He was a manufacturing rep and consulting engineer. He attended Bradley Univ. He was a member of the Linden United Methodist Church and Illinois Masonic Lodge 263. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Born Oct 29, 1920 in Peoria, Ill, he was a son of Lewis and Mary Mihalik Molnar. He married Henrietta Wolford Jan 31, 1943. She survives. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Donald (Lillian Wilcox) of Peoria Ill and nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Helms & Hahn Funeral Home here with Rev. John Webb officiating. Burial in Linden Cemetery. --- Friends of the Joseph E. Molnar family may call at the Helms and Hahn Funeral Home at Linden from 5 to 9:30 p.m. today.
