Mr. Osmer Gordon MOSER passed away at his home east of  Waveland July 14 at 9:30 pm. after 4 years of illness. He had  been critically ill for the past 5 weeks. He was born in southern  Ohio in 1869, later moving to Illinois. He was married to Mary M  Pell on Sept 4, 1895, who preceded him in death in 1942.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. JD Blacker of Romney, Indiana,  two sons, Gordon of Brazil and Harry of Waveland; one brother, FO  Moser of Haviland, Ohio, 7 grandchildren and one great  granddaughter. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 at the  Waveland Methodist Church with Rev. Homer Hunsinger of the  Wingate Christian Church of which Mr. Moser was a member having  charge of the service with Rev. EF Prevo, assisting. Music was  furnished by Mrs. Zelma Spencer, Karl Moser, a grandson sang,  The Lord's Prayer, which was a request of Mr. Moser. Pall bearers  were William Patterson; Paul Emmert, Ed Fowler, John Cheatham,  Gerald Robison and George Spencer. Flowers were carried by Elsie  Durham; Lottie Robison; Ada Emmert; Mildred Emmert; Irene  Patterson; Violet Overstreet; Marilyn Fowler; Gladys Cheatham;  Mildred Evans; Cora Robison; LuRe Rivers; Frances MIller; Betty  Jane Miller; Wilma Spencer; Thelma Hardee; Mary Lee Spencer and  Martha Joan Spencer. Burial was in Maple Ridge Cemetery - transcribed by kbz
