John A. MORROW, 77, died at his home, 513 Tuttle avenue, at 7:30 o'clock Thursday night of heart trouble. He had been ill only one week. Born in Montgomery County, May 8, 1860, Mr. Morrow was the son of William and Elizabeth Morrow. On Nov. 7, 1890, he married Metta M. MITCHELL at Danville, Ill. Mr. Morrow was a member of the Carpenter's union and was employed in that profession for many years. He served in the U.S. cavalry. Surviving are the widow; one son, Richard Morrow, Crawfordsville R.F.D. ; one daughter, Grace WILDER, Detroit, Mich., and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Proffitt and Sons funeral home. Rev. E. A. Arthur will officiate and burial will be at Liberty Cemetery."

Submitter's note: This obit has two errors. John Morrow married Metta M. Mitchell on Nov. 7, 1891 instead of 1890. Also, his son was Reed Morrow, not Richard Morrow. From: William Martin
