William H. MOORE, 87, oldest Waveland native, died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville Sunday night, March 2 after a serious illness of two days. Mr. Moore was born June 19, 1870, in Waveland. He and his brothers were engaged in brick masonry and concrete work. Mr. Moore was married in 1892 to Martha Viola SCOTT who died in 1947. They were members of the Waveland Christian Church. His daughter, Mrs. Bessie SIMMS, preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Raymond Moore of Waveland; a grandson, Robert Simms of Tulsa, Okla; two granddaughters, Mrs. Lillian Presslor of Waveland and Mrs. Willard Robison of Holton, Kansas and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home Wed. afternoon with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial in Old Union Cemetery. - typed by kbz
