Willie Moore gave up his long fight for life on Saturday
morning. He has been at the home of his mother, near
Tompkinsville, Ky., and Mrs. Moore and the younger children have
been with him. Will Hester took Vera and Clinton down on Saturday
afternoon for the funeral on Sunday. He was buried in sight of
where he was born. They returned on Tuesday evening. Mr. Moore
had been suffering for a long time with a cancerous tumor on his
thigh. In spite of his pain he was always cheerful and hopeful.
He has been living on the Fisher farm, now owned by Foster Fudge.
