Vern C. MOORE. 45 died suddenly at his home here, 807 E. College St at 4
o´clock Friday afternoon. He had been in failing health for the past six months
but his death came as the results of a paralytic stroke, thought to have been
caused by a cerebral hemorrhage which he suffered about 10 o´clock Friday
night. The dead man was born June 24, 1886, near Alamo the son of George &
Olive Brown Moore, both of whom survive him. He was married Dec 24, 1913 to
Ethel Reason who survives. He had lived in Crawfordsville since his parents
moved here when he was 13 with the exception of 8 years he spent in St. Louis.
He was employed for a number of years at the Crawfordsville foundry. Besides
the widow and parents, the survivors are a sister, Mrs. Lou Snyder,
Crawfordsville, 3 brothers: Charles, Jesse and Clyde all of this city. Services
will be held at the home, 807 E. College at 2:30 Sunday afternoon; burial in
Oak Hill Cemetery. - typed by kbz
