Mark D. MOORE, 79, of Waveland died at his home Feb 18, 1958 at 8:15 a.m. Born in Waveland Aug 8, 1878, he was the son of John T. and Emma Patton Moore. Mr. Moore had been in poor health for several years. He operated a grocery store for a number of years and lived in Waveland until 1930 when he married Bessie Spaulding at Bloomington. They resided in Bloomington until 1956 when they moved to Waveland. Mr. Moore was also an inventor. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include the widow, Bessie; a sister, Mrs. Mabel McIntire of Waveland; 3 brothers, Robert s. of Waveland; Lee Roy of Waveland and Logan of Crawfordsville; several nieces and nephews. A sister, Mrs. Mollie Fry and a brother Ed preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Machledt & Servies Funeral Home with Rev. Lowell Morris officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery north of Waveland.
