ROCKVILLE – Mrs. Claudia B. Moore, 78, died at 4:20 a.m. Thursday (March 13, 1969) at the Howard Ave. Nursing Home in Rockville. Her home was 406 N. Jefferson, Rockville. Born July 9, 1890 in Parke County, she was the daughter of George W. and Kitora Asbury Phillips. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Rockville and its Ladies Aid; the Stitch and Chatter Club, the Myesville Community Club, and the Calendar Club. Survivors include three nephews, Leo Guilliams of Rockville, Homer Phillips of Indianapolis and Arthur Jackson of Gary; three nieces, Mrs. Thelma Alexander of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Edna Sancher of Indianapolis and Mrs. Kathering Weinman of Ft. Wayne. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Barnes Mortuary with the Rev. Eric Ryser officiating. Burial will be in Memory Garden. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today. – jlr
