Cathy L. Moore, 26, of Silver City, N.M., and a former resident of Crawfordsville, died in a traffic accident at 8 p.m. Friday near Reserve, N.M. She was the wife of Richard Dee Moore, who was injured in the accident. Survivors include her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin B. Short, of Ramah, N.M.; a brother, Michael B., of Silver City; a sister, Carol Ann Short, of Silver City; a grandmother, Mrs. Mamie Short, of Houston, Tex.; three sisters-in-law, Debbie Cassida of 915 W. Wabash Ave., Tina Moore, of 614 W. Market St. and Brenda Smith, of Linden, and several nieces of nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Curtis-Bright Funeral Home in Silver City with the Rev. Clifford Hutton officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lane Cemetery at Silver City. The family requests donations be made to the Children’s Retardation Fund. – jlr
