Paul H. MOODY, a former resident of Waveland and one of
Indiana's leading hair stylists died Saturday at 2 at the Mercy
Hospital, Gary after having been ill since March. He was born in
Waveland Feb 13, 1899. He married Helen LYTLE of Crawfordsville.
Mr. Moody started his profession as a barber in Crawfordsville
about 40 years ago, later moving to Gary. Surviving are the wife;
a daughter, Paula Lynn, at home; his mother, Mrs. Kate Moody of
Crawfordsville; 3 sisters, Mrs. Margaret Moser of Brazil, Mrs.
Russell Powell of and Mrs. Jewel Chaney of Crawfordsville; 3
brothers, LC moody of Denver, Col; Ed Moody of Seattle,
Washington and James Moody of Crawfordsville; and several nieces
and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Williams &
Burns Funeral home, Gary, Tuesday.
