Harry M. MOODY, formerly of Waveland, died Wednesday in Indianapolis General Hospital where he had been a patient for the past 3 weeks. He was 75. Mr. Moody had been ill for about 18 months, seriously for six weeks. He was born in Waveland May 15, 1882, son of Thomas Newton and Martha Clements Moody. He married Alice Lungsford Dec 6, 1916 in Crawfordsville. He lived for more than 40 years in Waveland before moving to Indianapolis about 34 years ago. Mr. Moody was in the Livery business in Waveland and worked for the Central Indiana RR. He was a member of the Waveland Methodist Church. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Louisa Gilliland of Waveland and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Machledt Funeral Home in Waveland, Rev. Lowell Morris of the Waveland Methodist Church was in charge and burial was in Freedom Cemetery at Waveland. - transcribed by kbz
