Mrs. Anna Moody, 80, a long-time resident of Montgomery County, died Tuesday morning in Ben Hur Nursing Home here. Mrs. Moody was educated in Tompkinsville, Ky., where she was born Sept. 29, 1891, a daughter of George W. and Francis Ferguson Jenkins. She married Smith Moody in 1911. Surviving are two sons, Reed of Indianapolis and Dr. Charles D. of Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Copas of Crawfordsville, Mrs. George Henderson of Western Springs, Ill., and Mrs. George Cantwell of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, a daughter and a brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Powers Funeral Home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery. – jlr
