Funeral services were held at Freedom Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 2 for William H. MITCHELL age 73 years who passed away at Culver Hospital on Friday morning in Crawfordsville, from a heart ailment. Mr. Mitchell had been a farmer in the community for a number of years and retired after the death of his wife, Dec 1939. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Nellie MILES of near New Richmond; three grandchildren, two brothers, George of Hoopeston, Ill and John at Portland, Oregon. -- kbz
