NEW RICHMOND --- Glen Mitchell, 77, of New York City, a New Richmond native, died Monday in a New York hospital. An artist by profession, he was most recently a faculty member of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Mr. Mitchell won a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1926-27 for his art work. Born in New Richmond, he was a son of Charles and Alice Ebrite Mitchell. He attended New Richmond School. Survivors include the widow, Frances, and three cousins, Mrs. Merrill Clapp of New Richmond, Mrs. Ruby Oppy of New Richmond and John Alexander of Lebanon. After cremation, burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery.
