Graveside services for Mrs. Gladys M. Mitchell, 67, former Crawfordsville resident, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the IOOF Cemetery in Rochester, Ind. Rev. Claude Fawns will officiate. Mrs. Mitchell, widow of William P. Mitchell, died at 8:30 a.m. Friday at her summer cottage near Akron, Ind. She and her husband had resided in Crawfordsville at 307 W. Main St. while Mr. Mitchell was manager of the then Public Service Co. of Indiana, now the Indiana Gas & Water Co. She was born in Akron, the daughter of H. D. and Pearl Stoner. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter. Survivors Include the mother; two daughters, Mrs. Robert E. Sanford of Elkhart and Mrs. Robert L. Barta of Lombard, Ill.; a grandson, Tom Barta of Lombard, and a sister, Mrs. Fred Senger of Peru. Friends may call at the Tom Haupert Funeral Home in Rochester between 3 and 10 p.m. Saturday.
