Wingate, Sept 21 – Elliott O. Mitchell, lifelong resident died suddenly at the family home two miles west of here at 9:45 o’clock Wednesday evening having been stricken with apoplexy at 6:30 o’clock. The son of William and Mary Mitchell, he was born in Montgomery County on March 11, 1867 and was married to his first wife in 1887. She died in May 1907 and a few years later he married Genevieve Donovan. He was a member of the local Christian Church. Surviving besides the widow are one daughter, Mrs. Fred Ogle of Harold, S Dak and two sons, Leslie of Newtown and Isaac of near Hillsboro – kbz
