The many friends of Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell will be pained to hear of her death which took place at an early hour Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. D. McClellan, in Indianapolis.
For a number of years she made her home with her only living child, Mrs. McClellan, in this city, subsequently going with them to their present home. She was a devoted member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and it might be said that her friends are only to be numbered by her acquaintances.
The remains were taken to Frankfort, Ind., where the funeral was held Tuesday morning. -s
