Death of Peter Mish – Peter Mish, a well known citizen of this city, died at his home north of the New Albany depot at 5 o’clock Saturday after a very severe illness from cancer of the stomach. The deceased was a native of Germany and was 69 years of age. When still a young man he immigrated to this country and finally settled in this city and has resided here near 45 years. He was married to Emily McDaniel about 37 years ago and five children were the fruit of the union. Two are living. The deceased was a devout Catholic. The funeral services were held at St. Bernard’s Tuesday at 9 o’clock. The services were conducted by Rev. JR Dinnen. The interment was at Calvary cemetery. - kbz
