Mills - Daniel

Daniel Mills, a resident of Crawfordsville 30 years ago and since for many years editor of the DesMoines, Iowa Register recently died at an advance age, sincerely mourned by a large circle of acquaintances in Des Moines.
Note: (findagrave) - Daniel was born April 3, 1801 Warren County, Ohio. Died July 29, 1887 Polk County, Iowa (Des Moines). Son of Jacob Mills 1770-1850) and Mary Elizabeth Webb (1770-1859) married Janet Westfall 22 December 1821. Lived in Miami County, Ohio -- Oxford and Montgomery COunties, Indiana then Polk County, Iowa. Jacob Westfall Mills; Elizabeth Mills; Mary Westfall Mills; Croghan Mills; Frank Moody Mills; Noah Webster (Webb) Mills and Penelope Mills Tyler. In 1874 Daniel married Anna V. Boyd. Daniel was a lawyer by trade (so hope I have the right one since the above says he was an editor / writer for the paper - surely do since the same place/time of death and the little article on findagrave says he lived in Montgomery County Indiana).
