William Guy Millikan, 76, 1019 E. Chestnut St. died early Saturday morning at his home. He had been ill for some time. He was born Dec. 27, 1886, in Montgomery County and was the son of Charles and Mary Elizabeth Garver. He was married to Hattie W. Zachary on April 11, 1918, in Crawfordsville. In his youth he had worked for his father, who was a house mover. Immediately before his marriage and for two years thereafter he lived and worked in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Ladoga Barracks 1164, WWI Veterans, having served in Europe. Surviving besides his wife is a sister, Mrs. Loia Bumgarner, Mobile, Ala. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bright Funeral Home by Rev. O. K. Malone, pastor of the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
