Pauline R. Milligan, 75, of Waveland died at 8 a.m. Saturday in her home. She had been in failing health the past four years. Mrs. Milligan attended Waveland Covenant United Methodist Church and was a 1933 graduate of Russellville High. School. She was a retired postal clerk at the Waveland Post Office. Her memberships included Waveland Chapter 539 Order of Eastern Star and the Waveland Department Club. She was born Aug. 2,1914, at Waveland to William D. and Delia Goff Byrd. She married Roland Milligan on March 23, 1935, at Russellville. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, Dean of Houston, Texas, Alan of Franklin and Alex of Rockville; two daughters, Mrs. Malcolm (Sally) Simpson and Jill Bowman, both of Waveland; a brother, Kenneth Byrd of West Lafayette; two sisters, Marguerite Hellwig of Danville, Ill., and Ruth Griggs of Brownsburg; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home at Waveland with the Rev. Michael Gore officiating. Burial will be in Waveland Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
