Mrs. Mary "Marie" Milligan, 80, died unexpectedly Sunday at her home here. Mrs. Milligan had lived most of her life in Parke & Montgomery counties. She was a member of the Waveland Coventant Church and Waveland Department club. A Parke County Native, she was born May 6, 1887 to William B. and Laura (Boyd) McClain. She married Samuel Milligan in Terre Haute. Surviving is a sister, Miss Bess McClain of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Max. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wed. at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home here with Rev. Walter Porter officiating. Interment will be in Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may pay respects at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.- kbz
