John Vanice MILLIGAN, a life long resident of this community for some 80 years died early Thursday morning at Culver Hospital. He had been in ill health 3 months but only entered the hospital Wednesday. There remain the wife and two children: Harry of this place and Mrs. Ruth Ingraham of Sheridan, Wyoming. Three grandchildren, Marie and Susan Milligan and Ann Ingrohm (sic). Funeral arrangements are not complete at this time. - transcribed by kbz

Funeral services for John V. Milligan who succumbed of a heart attack at Culver Hospital Thursday, May 27 were held at the residence Sunday afternoon 3:00 o'clock with Rev. James O'Neal in charge. The funeral oration was delivered by Rev. Herbert Hugo of the Central Presbyterian Church, Chicago. Burial in Maple Ridge. - transcribed by kbz
