Waveland -- Harry B. Milligan, 59, died Sunday afternoon in the Ben Hur Home at Crawfordsville. He had been in failing health for the past year. Mr. Milligan who was a farmer was born here November 1, 1903 to John V. and Grace Blatchley Milligan. He was twice married. He was wed to Rosalind Karrickhoff Sept 6, 1927. His second marriage was to Dorothy Deer Sept 11, 1935 in Danville, Ill. She survives. He was a member of Waveland Presbyterian Church. A graduate of WHS, Mr. Milligan received his bachelor's degree from Hanover College and master's degree in chemistry from the Univ. of W Va. Except for a few years in Houston, Tx. he lived in this community all his life. Surviving besides the wife are two daughters, Miss Susan Milligan of Indianapolis and Mrs. Alan Forssell of Arlington, Va; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Ingram of Sheridan, Wyo; three grandchildren and a niece, Ann Neal of San Bernardino, Calif. Fun. serv. are announced for 10;30 a.m Wed. at the Machledt & Servies Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Bingham of the Presbyterian Church officiating and burial in Maple Ridge Cemetery Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
