Ellen Jane Milligan, the only daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J.M. Milligan was born Dec. 3, 1914, and departed this life June 19, 1923, aged 8 years, six months and 16 days. She was a baptised member of the Presbyterian Church, having received the ordinance of baptism June 11, 1916. Jane was a good little Christian, believing with implicity confidence just like the little children of whom the Savior would say, "Of such is the Kingdom of heaven." And she showed her faith with a loyal devotion; for she loved the Church and Sunday School and would often be at those services when she was not able. Her health has not been good for many months as a consequence of her first illness of influenza and another attack of the same malady a few weeks ago left her a sufferer til the end in Terre Haute where she had gone for treatment. All who knew dear little Jane are deeply grieved in her being taken away, but they know that she who has suffered with the Lord is also glorified with Him. "The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken, away, blessed be the name of the Lord. She is survived by her parents and four brothers, Kenneth, Richard T, Rolland D and Milford Jr. Funeral services. at the home on Thursday morning. Burial in Presbyterian Church.
