COVINGTON—Wayne L. Miller, 54year-old automobile dealer and prominent businessman of Covington died at 7:20 p. m. Thursday in the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. He was hospitalized there after a heart attack April 29. He was a member of the Yeddo Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Elk Lodge of Danville, Tidal Lodge No. 36 and K. of P. in Covington. Mr. Miller started in the automobile business in 1929 in Kentland. He moved his business to Kingman in 1934 and to Covington in 1938. Born Feb. 2, 1904 in Silverwood to William L. and Carolyn Lewis Miller, he was married Sept. 8, 1929 to Ruby Smith. Surviving are the widow; three sisters, Mrs. Madge Irwin of Attica, Mrs. Gladys Huestis of Youngstown, Ohio, and Mrs. Ruth Duff of Los Angeles; a brother, J. Lee Miller of Mellott and several nieces and nephews, including Charles Kay of Covington. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Glenn Ray officiating, assisted by Rev. G. Elwood Anderson. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites. Friends may call at the funeral home. --typed by Walt W
