Miller - son of Will
Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal, 26 July 1895
As the procession of the funeral of the little boy of Will Miller was going up the steep hill near the Oak Hill cemetery, a team of horses to a cab commenced to back and the carriage immediately behind the cab was upset. In the carriage was Charley Miller, his wife and two boys and a boy of Roy Miller. The children were thrown out and the carriage was upset upon them. The horses to the cab were stopped when the carriage was upset, which saved a terrible accident. The little children were soon out from under the wreck and suffered no serious injuries, though it was a narrow escape from an accident of serious consequences. The carriage had a badly smashed wheel, however. The second carriage behind the cab contained Roy and Newt Miller and their wives, but they escaped by turning quick and driving out of the way. - thanks to Kim H
