COVINGTON — Ruby S. Miller, 70, of Rt. 2, Covington, died at 7: 30 a.m. today in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill. She had been in ill health for three months. Mrs. Miller and her husband had operated Miller's Chevrolet & Buick Dealership at Covington from 1938 to 1959, with branch dealerships at Kingman and Kentland. The Covington High School graduate was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Covington, was past president of Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Psi Iota Xi Sorority, was a member of the Kingman Fountain Chapter 204 Order of Eastern Star, and was past president of the Covington Women's Club. Born Jan. 19, 1905, at Franksville, she was a daughter of Charles W. and Grace Alderson Smith. She married Wayne L. Miller on Sept. 8, 1929. He died May 8, 1958. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Stella B. Trimmer of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Geneva Kay of Covington, and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers are deceased. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. --typed by Walt W
