New Market, Jan. 31-Mrs. Missouri Miller, 88 years old, a resident of Montgomery county most of her life, died Thursday morning at her home in New Market. She had been ill the last month with infirmities of age. Born Sept. 29, 1857, at Christianburg, Va., a member of a pioneer Virginia family, she married Lewis E. Miller of Montgomery county May 23, 1875. She was a member of the New Market Methodist church. Surviving are three sons, Will and Lambert Miller of New Market, and Harry Miller of near New Market; 27 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild besides several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son , and three daughters. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the New Market Methodist church with burial at the Harshbarger cemetery, north of Ladoga. The body will lie in state one hour at the church preceding the rites.
