Darlington -- Mary Geneva (Peggy) Miller, 60, resident of Darlington, died Tuesday night in the St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. She had been a patient there for five weeks. She was born on May 20, 1902. Her parents were John and Icie Hamilton Miller. Miss Miller was graduated from Darlington High School and was a member of the Darlington Presbyterian Church. Miss Miller had been employed as a receptionist in the office of Dr. Ralph Otten for the past 15 years and previously was employed by Dr. Robert Pollom, who now resides in Florida. Survivors include the mother, Icie Miller of Darlington; an uncle, Chauncie Hamilton of Darlington, and two aunts, Mrs. Newton Boots of Darlington and Mrs. Blanche Golder of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Bright Funeral Home at Darlington. Rev. James R. Dickey of the Methodist Church in Darlington will officiate. Burial will be in the Odd Fellow’s Cemetery at Darlington. Friends may call at the Bright Funeral Home in Darlington after noon Thursday.
