Waveland - Funeral services for Margaret Louise MIller, 58, of Waveland who was killed in a head on auto crash on US 41 north of Lyford late Monday are announced for 1:30 p.m. Friday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Wednesday. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Cancer Crusade. Mrs. Miller's car was struck by one driven by Fred Ricauda, 61, of Rt. 1, Rosedale who was hospitalized at Terre Haute. She was en route to Union Hospital in Terre Haute where her husband recently underwent surgery. The accident victim had been a teacher for 29 years, serving in Parke, Putnam, Montgomery, Fountain and Tipton counties. After graduation from Waveland HS, she received her bachelor of science degree from Indiana State College at Terre Haute and took graduate work at Indiana State and the old Central Normal College at Danville, Ind. Born Feb 9, 1909 in Waveland, she was the daughter of Ira J. and Gertrude Borwn Sharp. She was married May 21, 1936 to Ray T. Miller at Frankfort, Ky. She was a member of the Waveland Covenant Church was past matron of Waveland Chapter NO. 539 of the Order of Eastern Star and belonged to the Royal Neighbors Lodge. The survivors include the husband; a son, Ted Miller of Scottsburg, Ind; a daughter, Mrs. Joanne Shafer of Forest Park, Ill; the parents Mr. and Mrs. Ira J. Sharp of Waveland; three grandchildren, an aunt and two uncles. kbz
