Chino, July 24 – Mrs. Lydia V. Minnich of Eucalyptus Avenue passed away in LaVerne at 5:30 o’clock Saturday evening following a long period of falling health.  Mrs. Minnich who was born Feb 13, 1858 in Ladoga, Ind came to California from Ladoga in 1910. She lived in LaVerne for a number of years and in recent years resided in Pomona and Chino. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in LaVerne. Mrs. Minnich is survived by three sons, Lee, George and Sam Minnich of Chino and two sisters, Mrs. Charity Brubaker, Evanston, Ill; Mrs. Sophia Huntington, Ladoga; 9 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Todd Memorial Chapel at 3:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.  Rev John W. Deeter, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, Pamona, will officiate.  Interment will be made in the Pomona Cemetery by the side of her husband, John L. Minnich who passed away in 1927.
