J. Wint Miller, 86, a life resident of Crawfordsville, died at 11:20 a.m. Thursday at Culver Hospital, where he had been a patient one day. Mr. Miller had been self-employed as a carpenter many years. He was a member of the Liberty Chapel Church. He was born April 10, 1881, to James G. and Hannah Miller. He was married to Grace E. Oppy in 1900. Surviving are the widow; three sons, Glenn L., Paul I. and Dallas F., all residing on Rt. 1; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Connor of Fairmount, Ind.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, three sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home here with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Chapel Cemetery. Friends may pay respects at the funeral home.

Funeral services far James Wint Miller were held Saturday afternoon at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial was in Liberty Chapel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with floral tributes were Danny Miller, Bill Servies, Kenneth Miller, Jerry Miller, Junior Miller and Mark Miller. Selections were played on the organ by Mrs. O. C. Edwards.
