The young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Miller died of diphtheria on Tuesday and was buried on the following day to avoid all danger of spread of the disease. The health officers were worried over the appearance of diphtheria on Tuesday morning the first case in the year. It was the child of Ben Miller on South Walnut street. Might be Hattie age 8 died on the 10th which indeed was Tuesday!
