The death of Mrs. Harriet Hollingsworth Miller (sic) occurred at 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the family residence west of Thorntown following a several years’ illness her immediate illness being cause from a stroke of apoplexy. Deceased was a native of Ohio being born Nov 2, 1845, at Claysville, Ohio. She was the wife of William Milner (sic) whose demise occurred several years ago. There are four children surviving: Mrs. Nellie Brown; Joseph; John and Miss Alice. Deceased was a well-known resident of Thorntown and was a devoted mother, a kind neighbor, and had many friends who will mourn her loss. The funeral service will take place at 10:30 o’clock Tuesday morning at the Friends Church and will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Cleaver. Burial will be made in Sugar Plain Cemetery, adjoining the Friends’ church.
