New Ross -- Glenard T. MILLER died at his home one mile north of here Saturday morning at 9:30 of gastric ulcer and asthma. While he had been ill for 5 years, his death was unexpected. The deceased was born May 31, 1870 in Jasper County the son of Henry M. and Cena Ann Miller. He was married to Bertha M. Jewell at Shannondale Jan 3, 1900. He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He came to this vicinity with his parents in 1874. Surviving are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Hardaway of Shannondale; one sons, Martin at home; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Sparks and one brother, Alonzo H. Miller and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 at the Methodist Church in New Ross in charge of Rev. JA Gardner. Burial probably will be in Shannondale cemetery. kbz
