George Miller, 53 years old, a former resident of Darlington died at the home of his half-brother, William Lowery, here, at 5:30 Thursday afternoon. His death was caused by double pneumonia. Mr. Miller came to Darlington from Indianapolis a week ago and was ill on his arrival. He lived in Darlington a number of years ago, going to Crawfordsville from here. Later he resided in Indianapolis. During the flood of 1912 in Indianapolis, Miller was reported drowned but when relatives went to the city to investigate it was found he had only had a narrow escape from death. His wife residing in Michigan and one child survive him. The other half brothers, Mike Lowery of Mace and Joseph of Indianapolis are living. Funeral services will be held from the South Christian Church at two Saturday afternoon with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. -- kbz
