Special from the Lafayette Journal) -- Mrs. Ella GWIN MILLER passed away yesterday afternoon 2 o'clock at St. Elizabeth's hospital. Death was caused by heart trouble and she had been in poor health for 3 years. Mrs. Miller was born in this county Jan 11, 1855 and her maiden name was Ella Gwin. She was a woman of beautiful character and her death will be the source of much sorrow. Two sons, Merle and Clifford Pierce survive. She also leaves two brothers, County Commissioner, Thomas J. Gwin and Charles Gwin and three half sisters, Mrs. John Smith of Lafayette, Mrs. John Harvey of Dearborn County and Mrs. Belle Booe of Crawfordsville. The funeral will be conducted from the family home, 2512 N. 20th St.(Lafayette), Wednesday afternoon 2:30. Interment wil be made in Springvale Cemetery. kbz
