David S. Miller, 76 years old, a well known resident of the county died at his home NE of the city Wednesday morning. Mr. Miller was born in Hamburg, Penn May 16, 1838 and came to Indiana 35 years ago. He lived in Crawfordsville for a short time and then moved to the farm where his death occurred Wednesday. He was a successful farmer and was known to all his friends as a man of strict integrity. His wife and four children survive him: Mrs George D. Cook of this city; Mrs. O.H. Treadway, Terre Haute, Ed S. Miller, Linden and Miss Lizzie A. Miller, at home. One brother, S.S. Miller of Chicago and a sister in Reading Pa survive. Funeral services will be held from the late home at one on Saturday afternoon with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.-- kbz
