Miller - Charles P.

Charles P. Miller was born in Tennessee Nov 1, 1827 and died
at his home near Milligan Sept 6, 1912, aged 85 years 10 months 5 days. He was
a member of a family of 11 children. One
brother and three sisters preceded him. He became a member of the Lutheran
Church at about the age of 25 years and managed a faithful member until his
death, always setting a Christian example to those about him and bore his
suffering with great patience. He made the Bible his study, expressing to those
who waited on him that it was ___ he was really ___ the home of the faithful in
Christ. In the ….. and will be sadly missed. He leaves a heart broken wife __ children 4
sisters and a mother, together with a host of other relatives and friends
….. Funeral services were held at the
Philadelphia Lutheran Church on Saturday morning. The services were conducted
by Rev. H …. Interred at the Lutheran
Cemetery to await the promised day. (sorry this was super dim and almost
