Roachdale - Charles O. Miller, 70 died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home of a son, Earl in Roachdale. He had been in failing health since 1947. Born July 17, 1888 in Putnam County he was the son of John W. and Mary Frank Miller . He was married to Verna Lewis June 8, 1921 at West Lafayette. Mr. Miller was a member of the Fincastle Community Church and was a veteran of WWI. Survivors include the widow; four sons, Kenneth and Earl of Roachdale; Charles of Sanford, FL and Russell Miller of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mary Cox of Danville; two nephews, a niece 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Chastain-Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Myers officiating. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery. - kbz
