Mrs. Bessie A Miller, 86 of 104 S. Pine St. died at 11am Wednesday at Culver Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Miller was a grade school teacher in Parke County for several years. She was a member of the EUB Church here, a 50-year member of the OES at Wallace and was active in church work. She was born in Parke County March 4, 1882, a daughter of John P. and Mary Elizabeth Lundgren. She married Edward B. Miller in 1903. Surviving are a son, Clyde of Lafayette two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Reichard and Mrs. Omer McCallum, both of Crawfordsville, eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was the last of 12 children, Her husband preceeded her in death in 1962. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bennett Fulp and Rev. Leland Brett officiating. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
