Arthur W. Miller, 306 E. Franklin St., died Wednesday evening at his home. Mr. Miller, who observed his 82nd birthday Tuesday, was born Oct. 1, 1881 southwest of Crawfordsville, son of Charles and Anne Elliott Miller. He was married Oct. 19, 1912 to Bessie White. He was employed for 28 years by Indiana Bell Telephone Co. before retiring in 1938. He later was employed by Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power, retiring in 1955. He was a member of First Christian Church and was a lifelong member of Bell Telephone Pioneers. Survivors include the widow; two sons, Lee of near New Ross and Orin of Ladoga; two daughters, Miss Ida Miller of Reno, Nev. And Mrs. Martha Trosper of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Nettie Sayler of Indianapolis and nine grandchildren. The body is at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are pending.
