Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Opal MILLER, New London, Mo, who passed away March 9 at a hospital in Hannibal following an illness of one year was conducted Thursday March 11 at Adiel Baptist Church by Rev. W.M. Wigger and interment was made in a Cemetery nearby. Mrs. Miller was born Dec 1, 1898, the daughter of James and Ella PETTY WRIGHT. She married Willard Daniel Miller July 12, 1919 at Crawfordsville, moving to Missouri about 22 years ago. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Velma Jennings of Frankfort; Mrs. June Mosley of Hannibal, Mo; six sons, Homer Lee of Crawfordsville, Lurton of Fulton, Mo; Gale of Vandalia; Vernon and Jr. at home and Pvt. Melvin serving with the armed forces in Korea on leave due to his mother's illness. There also remain her mother, Mrs. Ella Wright of Quincy, Ill; 19 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Short of Waveland; Mrs. Ura Ardrey of Quincy, Ill; two brothers, Lee Wright of Bowling Green, Mo. And Lowell of near Frankfort, Mo. - kbz
