Miles - Nancy Swaim

Mrs. Nancy Miles died Sunday night Jan 22nd 1888, of pneumonia at the residence of her son, Jno. W. Miles, and was taken to her home near Reelsville, Putnam County to be buried beside her husband, Elisha Miles who died several years ago. She was about 78 years old, was a respected member of the Christian Church at Croy's Creek for many years. Note: Buried in Croy's Creek - Elisha is not in the index on findagrave.com - she is but they have her date incorrect - it is 1888 NOT 1882. If you look carefully at the stone's picture, you can clearly see the correct date. Her birthday I also believe is incorrect on findagrave.com. She, Nancy Swaim, and Elisha were married 16 July 1835 in Hendricks County, Indiana - kbz
