James H. MILES. 27, died Wednesday morning Dec 2, 1959 at 5:55 a.m. in Culver Hospital following a lengthy illness, although he had only been seriously ill for one week. Born Sept 7, 1932, west of New Market, he was the son of Ernest and Nellie Mitchell Miles. On June 30, 1959 he was united in marriage to Phyllis Farley at Waveland. A member of the Waveland Baptist Church Mr. Miles had lived most of his life in Waveland and attended school here. Besides the wife and parents, he is survived by a brother, Robert of Waveland; two sisters, Mrs. Shirley Henderson, Hawaii and Pattilou of Waveland; a grandmother, Mrs. Reuben Miles of Browns Valley; four nieces and two nephews. The body was taken to the Machledt & Servies Funeral home in Waveland where arrangements are pending.
