Steve A. Milam, 87, died Saturday evening in Lane House Nursing Home. He was born in 1884 in Monroe, Ky., a son of John and Elizabeth Milam. He was married to Ava Coleman. Surviving are three sons, William F. of Crawfordsville, Paul of Flint, Mich., and James P. of Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Biers of Flint, Mrs. Betty Anderson of Racine, Wis., and Mrs. Mary Craig of Jackson, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandrhildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. - jlr
