Middleton - Cecile Hudson

WAYNETOWN – Mrs. Cecile Middleton, 69, of Rt. 1, Waynetown, died at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. Mrs. Middleton retired in 1968 as office manager of California Pellet Mill in Crawfordsville. She had formerly been employed with R. R. Donnelly & Sons Co. and Harlan-Hixon accounting firm of Crawfordsville. She was a member of Alamo Christian Church. She was born March 12, 1910, in Montgomery County, a daughter of Guy and Juanita Lee Hudson. She was a graduate of Alamo High School and Indiana Business College. In 1951 she married David H. Middleton, who survives. Other survivors are her stepmother, Mrs. Cora Hudson of Alamo; a stepson, William H. Middleton of Crawfordsville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Carole Burkart of Lafayette; three brothers, Tom Hudson and Wesley Hudson, both of Crawfordsville, and Kenneth Hudson of Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Mae Holman of Waynetown; three uncles, Roscoe Hudson of Alamo, Moreland Hudson of Darlington and B. D. Hudson of Crawfordsville; an aunt, Mrs. Ruby Pearson of Crawfordsville; seven stepgrandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two infant brothers and two infant stepgrandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with the Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. Burial will be in Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday. – jlr
