She was united in marriage to James Michael, May 16, 1875. All of whom are living, besides these she has 7 grandchildren, 5 living and two dead. She was united with the Christian Church when quite young and has been a faithful worker from that time. One of the chief characteristics of her life was her kindness in sickness and trouble to those around her. She never was so busy but what she was willing to leave her own duties and lend a helping hand in that kind of work. In this no one will be more missed than her. She was a devoted companion and a kind and loving mother. She expressed herself in her last sickness as willing to go and had no fear of death. Besides her husband and children she leaves a host of friends to mourn their loss. Her remains were laid to rest in the Alamo Cemetery and in the coming years her husband and children will long for a touch of a vanished hand and the sound of a voice that is still. -- typed by kbz
