Michael - Lida Waye

Mrs. Lida Michael, 64, Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, widow of Raymond Michael, Montgomery County farmer, died Friday night at Culver Hospital where she had been a patient five weeks. She had been in failing health five years. Mrs. Michael was born near Wingate the daughter of Shubal Jefferson Waye and Mary Evelyn Waye. She married Mr. Michael in 1913. Mrs. Michael was a member of the New Richmond Methodist Church. Most of her life was spent near Crawfordsville. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Garver, and two sons, Donald K. Michael and Paul D. Michael, all of Crawfordsville; a brother, Forrest Waye of New Richmond; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The husband, the parents, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Monday in the Bright Funeral Home, with burial at Masonic Cemetery. Rev. John Servies will officiate. – jlr
